With 41 years of financial services business under his belt, Larry Decker is fluent in negotiating market fluctuations while helping his clients reach their retirement goals.
In 1978, Larry began his career by launching Gorkowski, Decker, and Associates with Forrest Gorkowski. He later welcomed two of his sons to the firm. Shortly after Forrest retired, and realizing CFP shared the same values, ethics and tenacity that they represented, the Deckers entered into an agreement with Creative Financial Partners and opened Decker Financial Group in 2016.
Larry lives in Metamora, Ohio with his wife, Denise. Larry's third son, Bill, is a personal trainer and lives locally. In his spare time, Larry enjoys mentoring children at Evergreen Elementary in Metamora.
Larry notes, "I'm so very lucky to do what I do. Welcoming two of my sons to the office has been a great honor for me. Not a lot of people are able to make a living doing what they love, nor are they able to build a thriving business with their loved ones."
